NEMESIT attaches great importance to the confidentiality and integrity of the data entrusted to it when using its Platform and its functionalities. The company undertakes to process the information in accordance with the legal provisions relating to data protection.

This Data Protection Policy describes the steps taken by NEMESIT for its data processing. This Policy may be subject to changes according to legal developments and recommendations from the National Board for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (French CNIL).

To enrich or improve the quality of its services, NEMESIT reserves the right to modify or supplement this policy. In that case, NEMESIT shall inform the concerned persons of any change in the purposes of the data processing and will ask, if applicable, for their consent when this one is required.

1. What is personal data?

Data is defined as "personal" when they concern natural persons identified directly or indirectly. For example, a person is identified directly when his/her surname and forenames appear in the file, a set of data organised in a structured manner. Likewise, an individual may be identified when a file contains information allowing his/her identification indirectly (ex.: registration no., telephone no., photography, etc.).

The use of the Platform and its functionalities implies the collection of your personal information, as well as those you send us to create an account, complete your profile and in general, the data produced or transferred during the provision of services.

Mandatory information is identified by an asterisk on the forms. Additional information is optional and allows to improve the follow-up and services provided by NEMESIT.

Your information may be collected directly from you via our online and paper forms or indirectly when they are provided through one of your employees. If your information is inaccurate, you can request a change (Cf. point 6)

NEMESIT, a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €5,000, registered with the Trade and Companies’ Register of Lille Métropole under number 877 803 221 and whose registered office is located 679 Avenue de la République, 59800 LILLE, France, is in charge of processing during the use of the Platform.

At the time of the creation of a User account and use of the Platform, NEMESIT shall retain the data, throughout the life of your account or as long as it is required for the proper operation of its services.

Please note however the following elements: (1) the deletion of the information from the servers and safeguard systems may take some time; and (2) NEMESIT may keep, if need be, this information to comply with its legal obligations, solve disputes or defend its interests or those of its partners in court.

Data required to comply with NEMESIT’s legal obligations are kept in accordance with the provisions in force. (in particular but not exclusively those provided for by the Commercial Code, Civil Code).

In accordance with the Information Technology and Civil Liberties act dated 6 January 1978 amended and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 relating to personal data protection, you have an access right, rectification right, deletion right (right to be forgotten), right of opposition, right to the process limitation, portability right. You may also define the instructions relating to the storage, deletion and communication of your personal data after your death.
